Nature

After those ruff days I just have to remind myself: hold on, because of the bad days the good ones are even better.

The Sweet Life: water colors, home and garden

Still in the water colors moment, there is an artist I would like to talk about.
Laura Stoddard and her book The Sweet Life enchanted me. I love the silhouette of the people in her work, how she has drawn the decoration and garden stuff in such a sweet way.

Watercolor is my passion of the moment

These watercolors are from Fabrice Moireau and the text from Jean-Pierre le Dantec.

I'm in a water color moment. I don't know why my husband bought a few books, I fallowed an bought some more and now we have a little collection. Is the passion of the moment in our home.
I'll show you some, because it definitely makes a life easier.

Garimpo Fuxique

This shop is here in Sao Paulo, the city I live in. It started as a way of using old fabrics from a very famous fabric and decoration shop. It started to get bigger and now has an own shop in the most modern quarter in town. They sell decoration objects, furniture, stationary, clothes from cool designers and those things that we never need but just can't resist.
I'll try to go there this weekend, I haven't stopped by for a long time.

Calu Fontes, ceramics and more

Recently I've been to a decorations fair, those places makes me want to change my home decoration every 6 months. That's a problem.
There I ran into Calu Fontes work. She makes ceramic things with layers and layers of prints that tuns a simple piece into a decoration object.

Isabelle Tuchband

With this other Brazilian painter that I love I have a good story.
My husband that knew I liked her work, got in touch with her, went to to her atelier and both of them made a plan.
At our anniversary he took me there, and a could choose one paint as a gift from him.
As I entered her atelier it felt like a dream. Everything was gorgeous, she was very interesting and seemed very cheerful with our moment.
I chose the one I liked the most, and we drank some wine and talked about art and life.
For me it was a magical night and very inspiring too.
If you have the chance get to know her art and her, go ahead. You will not regret.

Beatriz Milhazes

Beatriz Milhazes is my favorite painter, she is Brazilian, works in a atelier in Rio facing the Tijuca forest, earns a lot of money doing beautiful things and is known in the hole world.
I got to know her work when I started painting and people used to say that my things looked like hers. Of course mine were much less interesting and the only person who ever bought a paint from me was my mother. But that is another story.

sustentability

I've seen this Équité products in a fair I went in France and in a lot of cool shops in Europe. I wanted to know a little more about this project and got a great surprise at their site. The project is more interesting than I thought. Besides of making this purses, wallets and etc they also make toys and more sober things for men.

All the products are fair traded. The idea is to give the opportunity to artisanal workers from the poorest countries to sell well priced their products. Products that are all useful and fundamental and encourage the consumption of recycles and environmentally friendly products.

Girl's stuff

This girls and the photos are my friend's. Adriana has a lot of dolls, but what y love the most is how she customize, make the dresses, the hair and the make-up and take those beautiful pictures.
Congratulations Dri, they are sweet.

Dreamcatcher

These dream catchers are gorgeous. I found them at the Etsy shop . Looks great in a baby's bedroom, or a very soften decorated room.
